RWC stats

We have been using Google Sheets to gather, sort data and display data.
Here is what Tommy posted on his blog...

Today I was learning to make a Stat Chat card for an All Black of my Choice, And i was also learning how to make a graph.
I enjoyed making the card and finding the info on Ardie Savea.
I found it challenging to Find the picture of the silhouettes and to find the info on all three All Blacks for the Graph.
My digital learning object shows My Stat Chat Card and Graph
Next time I would change The All Black that i'm making it on.

RWC Sports Uniform Design

Today we were completing a series of design lessons.
We have designed a sports shoe for a Rugby World Cup team.

Today we put it together with an action selfe.
Some of us worked quickly and did a vector drawing of the uniform and added the team colours.
Can you tell which countries the uniforms are for?

Amazing Achievement. Amazing Artist - Cassidy

Today Mr Notting came over with all of the students Art pieces. One in particular stood out.
Cassidy has had her Art Work framed and as Mr Notting said " The best Artwork ever by any Year 7 Student that he has ever seen"
9.8 out of 10. The highest grade given to a Year 7 Student.
Next year he said he will have to mark her work out of 20 because she will score so high.
She is straight into Art Extension where her work will be on display and available to purchase.

Amazing and congratulations Cassidy.. you have an amazing and wonderful talent. 🎨🖌️💯🥇Image may contain: outdoor

The Kuia and the Spider

Yesterday, Taki Rua Productions performed Te Kuia me te Pungawerewere. The play was in Te Reo Maori, however it was an ideal opportunity for our kids to practise their inference skills.

Show Synopsis This show is about two main characters (Pūpai and Kui), and other characters they meet on an adventure. It is in te reo Maōri, but you should be able to understand what is happening from all the action and expressions. A spider named Pūpai and a kuia named Kui, have been living in the same house on the beach in Paekākāriki. For decades they have argued about who has the best weaving.

Have you read the book?
